Return / Warranty Policy

Return Policy: 

If you would like to return an item you purchased from Boardworks Tech Shop, the return must be made within 10 days of the date the item was purchased. The item must be in new / unused condition with the original packaging intact. Items will not be accepted without proof of purchase. All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Customer must pay the return shipping. Items returned 11-30 days past the date of receipt or delivery are eligible for exchange only. Items are no longer eligible for return or exchange after 30 days past the date of receipt or delivery.

Sale items are not eligible for return.

Snowboard boots and insole purchases are not eligible for return. Snowboard boots and insoles are eligible for EXCHANGE ONLY. Partial refunds will not be given on snowboard boots. So if you an exchange a $400 pair of boots for a $350 pair of boots, you will not be used a refund for the remaining value. Items must be in unused condition and in original packaging. Exchanges must be requested within 30 days of purchase date. Customer must pay return shipping for online exchanges and pay shipping on the new pair of boots and/or insoles.  

Defective items can be returned if we are notified within 48 hours of the receipt or delivery. Customer must pay the return shipping (see Warranty section below).

Boardworks Tech shop will issue refunds once items have been received and determined undamaged. We will notify you once a refund has been issued. Refunds may take 4-7 business days. Refunds must include a copy of the original invoice and reason for the return. An insured/trackable shipping service is required. A Return Authorization is required for all returns. Refunds may take up to 7 business days to process and will be issued in the original form of payment used for the purchase. If free shipping was awarded for a purchase you would like to return, the original shipping cost will be deduced from the return amount. 

Mounted snowboards and splitboards are considered to be used products, and are typically not eligible for return. However, some mounted products may be accepted for return with the 14 day return period for a restocking fee on a case by case basis. 

Any promotional items such as free T-shirts, hats, or tools that are received with the order must also be returned in order to receive a full refund.  Not returning a promotional item will result in the un-returned item's retail value being deducted from the refund the customer receives. 

We do not accept any returns on international orders. Unfortunately, the cost of processing international returns is too high for a small business. It is also ultimately very costly for the customer as well. All international sales are final. 

Boardworks Tech Shop accepts returns on a case by case basis. We reserve the right to refuse any return at our discretion. 

 

Warranty Policy:

Boardworks Tech Shop does not warranty any products. Warrantied items are handled by the company that manufactured and warrantied a particular product.

If you purchased a product that you feel needs to be warrantied from Boardworks Tech Shop, we are happy to help facilitate your communication with that company. We do hoverver, charge a $50.00 USD warranty processing fee to help cover our time & shipping costs. This process can take up to several weeks. To facilitate a warranty, we will need an email with detailed pictures of the damaged product as well as a proof of purchase. 

Customers are always welcome to go through the warranty process directly with the manufacturer for no cost. We will happily provide proof of purchase at not cost if you need another copy of your receipt. 

Each warranty is handled on a case-by-case basis.

Repair Guarantee: 

All snowboard repairs done by Boardworks Tech Shop have a 1 year or 100 riding day guarantee, whichever comes first. This means that if a repair like a base patch or weld does not hold, and it is not the result of user misuse or error, we will redo the repair for free. 

 

Price Match Guarantee

We guarantee to price match any and all authorized dealers within our contractual ability with our dealers. 

This guarantee does not include third party distributors such eBay, Amazon, Facebook, etc. 

This guarantee does not include "liquidation" or "going out of business" sales. We may choose to match these prices at our discretion. But price match is not guaranteed for these kinds of sales. 


To price match, the customer must provide proof in the form of an email link and screenshot/photo that shows the dealer's listed price and that the item is currently in stock. The Item must be current season, size, model, and colorway. Price matches must be requested at the time of purchase. Price match cannot be done retroactively to a sale. 

 

Shipping Policy: 

Once Boardworks Tech Shop ships a customer's order, the order is the responsibility of the package carrier. We are not liable for missing or stolen packages. If you would like to require a signature on your order and/or have additional insurance on your package, please make a request in the notes section of your order. 

Purchases from Boardworks may take up to 24 hours to process. Online purchases with USPS are not typically processed on Sundays when the mail carrier is closed, nor on Mondays when Boardworks is closed. It is the customers responsibility to account for those days when selecting a shipping method at checkout. If you are looking to make a purchase and would like to clarify the processing time, please call the shop ahead of making that purchase.

Sales Tax

Boardworks Tech Shop is a small business and only has a tax nexus in Washington State. Per Washington state law, we are required to pay Washington state and local sales tax on every transaction. This incudes sales through our online store to out of state customers. If you would like to get a reimbursement for sales tax on your purchase from Boardworks Tech Shop, you must report your purchase to the Washington State Department of Revenue

Liability: 

Boardworks Tech Shop is not responsible for the safety or reliability of the products we carry. We assume no liability from the use of any products we sell. By purchasing and/or using the product we sold, you assume all risk, responsibility and liability of any product ensuing loss or damage to persons or property.You accept any and all risks, dangers and hazards resulting in serious injury while using any product we sell.
