The K2 Waive is a top-tier performance snowboard boot for intermediate to advanced snowboarders with a wide profile foot. The internal BOA system allows the rider to zone out the instep of the boot to the desired tightness and fit with the easy twist of a knob. The classic laces are awesome for durability and can offer a more specific fit if you prefer a certain lacing pattern for the upper part of your boot.
We typically recommend this boot for intermediate riders looking to progress or advanced riders that want a stiffer / more responsive boot for hard-charging riding.
This boot is awesome for splitboarding as it is durable and dependable for backcountry AND you can loosen the upper power strap to allow for a longer stride in tour mode.
And lastly, this boot has unisex sizing, so all those smaller-footed folks that still want an aggressive/hard-charging boot don't have to settle for something softer to accommodate their foot profile.
With all boots, we recommend getting a proper in-store boot fit and considering an aftermarket insole so the boot best matches the arch of your foot.

Designed for the long haul, the all-new K2 Waive snowboard boot is built for those extended days in the split track.
We've packed the Waive full of the best split-specific features - and it starts at the sole. Our vibration-damping Harshmellow™ material is wrapped in a full Vibram® V5 outsole - durable, lightweight, and grippy. A crampon-compatible heel stabilizer helps keep your heel aligned on the walk up and gives the descent extra security. We've modified our trademark Endo™ Construction heel counter to allow the K2 Waive Snowboard boot to have a designated walk mode. By releasing the BOA® dial, it will enable the calf panel of the boot to open up, giving you the ability for a longer stride in the skin track but all the stability in the world that you need for the ride down. A traditional lace, exterior Power Strap, and lace cover keep you secure and keep the snow out. It goes without saying, but the magic starts from the inside with a snowboard boot. Our Intuition® Pro Foam Liner with Spaceheater™ is warm, comfortable, and heat-moldable. A comfortable and customizable Conda™ heel retention device keeps your foot position comfortable and removes the stress of heel lift when the terrain gets a bit spicy.
